Ring Core is a Terra Invicta project in LifeScience with a research cost of 5,000.
Rings are Tier 3 station habitats. Upgrading an orbital core to a ring core unlocks eight additional module slots at the station, for a total of 20 modules in addition to the core, and allows construction of large Tier 3 modules.
