We seek to ascertain what the Hydra expect from us in exchange for the cessation of all hostilities.
Thanks to our efforts both in translation and in limited recreation of their pherocyte-based communication, the Hydra have, thankfully, shown some willingness to not only to engage with us, but also to simplify their complex “tongue” for our sake. Their latest, and clearest, response brings good news and bad. The good: they do not currently intend to simply destroy humanity outright. The bad: they stipulate a degree of subjugation far beyond our reasonable expectations.
